While Big Red Supply has been providing quality building materials to
contractors, developers, home owners, and do-it-yourselfers in the south
Mississippi area for over ten years, many of our employees have been
helping our customers from this location for much longer. Billy and Kathy
Curry established Big Red Supply when they purchased the building supply
division of Richton Tie & Timber in August 1998. Many of our current
employees worked for Richton Tie & Timber before that purchase. So it's
easy to see that there is such a wealth of experience helping customer's
every day!
The Curry's vision for the business was to provide the best possible service
and fair prices to their customers - whether they were a young
inexperienced first-time homeowner working on their first house or a
seasoned contractor - while meeting their needs and treating them with
patience and respect.

Billy and Kathy knew that such a level of service would be unique to the building materials industry in South Mississippi and
would set their company apart - thus the origins of our slogan "Where customer service IS the difference!". The Curry's
believed it then and 10 years later that same philosophy continues to serve as the compass for their employee's relationship with

Hattiesburg area stocked. Big Red Supply located the product, made a 200 mile overnight round trip and had the product on our job site the next
